McClaren quiet on Twente link

Steve McClaren is remaining quiet on speculation linking him with a move to the Eredivisie. Twente are reportedly lining up the former Middlesbrough and England manager to take charge, and he was spotted looking around Twente's stadium last week.

McClaren told Sky Sports News: "I've got no news on that.



"I think the party line all the way along is that I want to get back into the game.



"I'm ready now, I'm fresh, and I'm recovered. I feel as if I've still got a lot to prove and a lot to give to football.



"Whether that is in this country or abroad, we'll have to wait and see."
