Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has heaped praise on Arsenal star Declan Rice ahead of the Premier League meeting at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues are presently third in the standings with 23 points, six behind the Gunners, who are top of the table. They have the opportunity to make up ground with a victory in front of their fans.
Ahead of the game, Caicedo has spoken fondly about Rice and said that the England international is one of the best midfielders in the world at the moment.
He said: "I’m happy he’s doing well and I enjoy watching him because he’s top quality. I want to face the best midfielders in the world, defensive or attacking, and he’s one of them."
Chelsea have not beaten the Gunners in any competition since 2021 and they last beat them at Stamford Bridge during the 2018/19 season.
They have the chance to make amends with a win tomorrow which would send a big message to the rest of the league over their title credentials.
