Arsenal will be without the services of Leandro Trossard against Club Brugge after he picked up a knock against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The Belgian star recovered from a calf injury to face the Villans last weekend. He came on as a half-time substitute and scored a crucial equaliser.
Despite this, the Gunners ended up on the losing side. Villa scored a dramatic winner in the dying seconds of the game through Emiliano Buendia.
Trossard was substituted in the 86th minute after picking up a fresh knock and he has now been ruled out of the Champions League game at Brugge.
In his absence, Gabriel Martinelli looks poised to start on the left wing.
Martinelli has netted in each of his four European appearances this campaign, and will be aiming to extend the streak against Brugge.
The Brazilian has played second fiddle to Trossard thus far and has the opportunity to cement a starting spot with a strong performance.
