Manchester United have set a fresh asking price for Joshua Zirkzee after Roma's proposal on the negotiation table, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Red Devils are open to parting ways with the Dutch international in January, and they are willing to accept a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Roma have so far offered a package worth €40 million for his services. They are willing to pay €5m upfront for a loan deal with a fixed fee of €30m next summer.
The Giallorossi are prepared to pay a further €5m if they qualify for the Champions League. United are not satisfied by the proposal and want much more.
The Mancunian giants are reportedly holding out for €50m for the former Bologna man and it is left to be seen whether Roma meet the demands for the striker.
Zirkzee is desperate to make a return to Italian football. He is keen to prove his credentials in order to make the Netherlands squad for the World Cup next summer.
