Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways on Boxing Day with a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at home. They were far from their best, but put in a good defensive shift to pick up maximum points.
United are now favourites to beat Wolves, who are bottom of the standings. Ahead of the encounter, Amorim has confirmed that Mason Mount is doubtful after sustaining an injury against the Magpies.
The Englishman was substituted at the break with a hamstring concern and he is unlikely to be risked on Tuesday with the short turnaround time.
Alongside him, Amorim has confirmed that Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt may not return from their respective injuries to face Wolves tomorrow night.
Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui are out on international duty and may not be available for a few weeks.
