31 May 2008 - 08:59

Tottenham are still continuing their search for a long term successor to Dimitar Berbatov and a new name has cropped up into the rumour mill; Oscar Cardozo of Benfica has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

  • Chelsea have discussed move for Alejandro Garnacho
  • Newcastle make bid for Chelsea defender

  • As there are persistent rumours that Dimitar Berbatov is leaving the club, Juande Ramos has shortlisted a reported 10 strikers he would like to sign one or two from.

The newest addition is that of Oscar Cardozo, from Benfica. The striker bagged 22 goals in the Portuguese liga last year, and has shown he can play on the European stage with some great performances.

Tottenham may have to pay £12 million to land Cardozo.
