Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has confirmed a fresh injury blow following the club's 1-0 Champions League win over Pafos at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues moved into the top eight of the competition after a hard-fought win over Pafos. Moises Caicedo scored a late winner for the west London giants.
Despite the positive result, there was another concern with goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen being replaced by Robert Sanchez at the half-time interval.
Speaking after the game, Rosenior confirmed a muscle injury for the Dane, he said: "He picked something up. Rob Sanchez came on and made a fantastic punch. Hopefully Filip can get better quickly."
Chelsea return to Premier League action against Crystal Palace on the road this weekend. It should be a routine victory for the Blues.
Palace are on a freefall at the moment, and they have weakened their backline with Marc Guehi joining Manchester City recently.
Jean-Philippe Mateta has also requested to leave the Eagles this winter and may not feature in the upcoming London derby at Selhurst Park.
