As things stand, the club have no standout targets heading to transfer deadline day and will be intriguing to watch who they could seek to sign.

The Premier League leaders are more likely to focus on a short-term loan deal rather than splashing the cash on a big-money signing.

Arsenal are currently six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the league after the latter's 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners will be in Carabao Cup action in midweek. They are scheduled to host Chelsea in the second leg of the semi-final.

The club have a 3-2 aggregate lead from the first leg away.
