Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt are ruled out of the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils host Spurs in Saturday's early kick-off and ahead of the encounter, Carrick has provided some disappointing news on the injury front.
Matthijs de Ligt and Mason Mount were absent from yesterday's training session and Carrick has revealed that the duo are unavailable for the Spurs game.
Alongside the duo, United won't have the services of Patrick Dorgu too. The Dane is out for the next two months after suffering a hamstring injury against Arsenal.
Despite their absence, the Red Devils go into the game as clear favourites, having won three league matches on the bounce. Spurs have been winless in the same period.
The north London giants are languishing 14th in the standings and United could secure their first win over Spurs in nine attempts on Saturday.
