Manchester United are interested in landing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande at the end of the ongoing campaign, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils bolstered their wide attacking department with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo last summer, but they could make more additions in the positions.
United are currently poised to return to European football next season. In that case, they will require a larger squad. A new winger could be priorised by the club's hierarchy.
M.E.N claim that the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the performances of Diomande, who has been a revelation since his move from Leganes last summer.
The 19-year-old has made 14 goal contributions from just 21 appearances. He is comfortable operating from the right or left wing.
Leipzig obviously won't let him go on the cheap and could demand as much as £87 million to sanction his sale during the summer.
United are not alone in the pursuit with Arsenal and Liverpool among admirers. Bayern are keeping track of the Ivorian too.
