Chelsea have been handed a fresh injury boost ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie against Hull City away from home.
The Blues shared the spoils against Leeds United in the Premier League yesterday. They were 2-0 up at one point, but squandered the advantage to settle for a frustrating draw at home.
Reece James was absent for the game due to illness, but the England international was back in full training earlier today and could make the matchday squad to face Hull on the road on Friday night.
Chelsea will obviously go into the FA Cup tie as favourites to make the next round, but Hull can't be taken lightly, given their fine Championship form over the course of the campaign.
Hull are currently fourth in the league standings and are well within the race for promotion. Hence, Chelsea can't afford any complacency and manager Liam Rosenior may make limited changes to the starting XI.
