Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Inter Milan striker Pio Esposito when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Gunners bolstered their strikeforce with Viktor Gyokeres last summer and he has been a good addition with 13 goals to his name.
However, the club are also eyeing a young striker with potential and Football Transfers claim that Esposito has been identified as a top target.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has conducted a scouting mission on the young marksman, who is one of the best young strikers in Serie A.
The 20-year-old has had a fine campaign thus far despite being a regular substitute. He has managed 11 goal contributions from just 1,275 minutes.
Esposito is not contemplating a new challenge at the moment, but the Gunners could seek test Inter's resolve during the summer.
It could take more than €50 million to prise him away. Inter turned down a similar proposal from a foreign club at the start of the season.
