Blackburn to sign Kightly

02 June 2008 - 22:25

Wolves' winger Micheal Kightly might be the man to replace David Bentley at Blackburn Rovers. Bentley is reportedly set to sign for Liverpool.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Blackburn Rovers are ready to offer a deal for Wolves' attacking winger Micheal Kightly in an attempt to replace the un-settled David Bentley. Bentley had been linked with a move to Liverpool and he has already requested the club that he wants out.

Kightly has been a sensation for the Wolves and is rated at £4M, however, the deal will depend on the future of Rovers boss Mark Hughes. A source close to Rovers said: "“Kightly is very much the man Mark would go for were he to remain at the club,"

"It’s all a bit complicated until the manager’s position is clear.”

Mark Hughes is reportedly set to sign for Manchester City in a few days.
