Hugo Lloris has joined Olympique Lyonnais on a five-year contract for a fee which could rise to 8.5 million euros.

  • The OGC Nice goalkeeper was linked with a move to several top clubs, finally signing a deal with seven-times Ligue 1 champions Lyon. The 21-year old stated that there is no better place of him to keep improving.



    He will be replacing France number one Gregory Coupet who has left the club after spending a decade with Lyon.



    "To succeed Coupet, who has played such a big role at Lyon, is a challenge and an honour," Lloris said.
