  • The club has announced on its official website that they have agreed personal terms with the player who shall now undergo a medical at Old Trafford.

Ramsey is still only 17 years of age but was instrumental in Cardiff City's FA Cup final run last season and was being hunted by a number of top Premier League clubs.

But it is Manchester United who has finally landed the player. A statement on the club's website read:

"Manchester United is delighted to announce it has agreed terms with Cardiff City for the transfer of Aaron Ramsey subject to terms being agreed and the player passing a medical."

It is being held that Man United shall loan back the player to Cardiff for the 2008-2009 season to give the player more playing time.
