Chelsea winger Pedro Neto faces an extended ban after his sending off against Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend.
The Portuguese attacker received his marching orders against the Gunners last Sunday after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession.
While leaving the field, he was spotting using abusive language towards the officials and was reluctant to head inside the tunnel at first.
The FA have now charged the former Wolves man for misconduct and he has until Monday to respond.
Neto is obviously eligible to face Wrexham in the FA Cup fifth round, but he could then face an extended ban, potentially for a few games.
Chelsea returned to winning ways with a 4-1 rout of Aston Villa in the league last night. Joao Pedro bagged a sublime hat-trick.
Alejandro Garnacho started on the left wing in Neto's absence and he produced a fabulous performance and provided an assist.
The Argentine is likely to continue in the role on Saturday.
