Arsenal winger Noni Madueke has sent his reaction after the 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
The Gunners were second-best for large parts of the European encounter, but they managed to secure a point after a late penalty earned by Madueke.
Kai Havertz converted the resultant spotkick which has ensured that Arsenal are still in a good position before the second leg at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Madueke said that the Gunners were aiming for the win but a draw is not a bad result against the Bundesliga heavyweights.
He added that the Gunners have full confidence going back to the Emirates and will be looking to get the job done in north London next week.
He said: "We came here to try & win, but when you can’t win, it’s good to draw & not lose.
"We have full confidence going back to the Emirates, obviously Everton first, then we’re confident we’ll get the job done in London."
