Manchester United legend Gary Neville has urged the Red Devils' hierarchy to sign two midfielders during the summer transfer window.
The Mancunian giants have had a tremendous revival in the Premier League since Michael Carrick took charge as the interim manager in January.
They have picked up 22 points from nine league matches, and the club are presently third and well-placed to secure Champions League football.
Despite this, there is a big spending spree in the summer and the midfield department could be the prime area of focus for the Manchester club.
Casemiro is set to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer. The hierarchy have no plans of prolonging his stay despite a superb upturn in form over the past few months.
Manuel Ugarte could depart too amid his lack of playing time. Amidst this, Neville believe the board should invest in two midfielders and made a personal plea after the 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
He said: "Casemiro is leaving and I think Manuel Ugarte will leave. They need two really good central midfield players. Probably one that's more positional, like a Michael Carrick-type, and one that's more of a destroyer."
