Chelsea have suffered a big injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton on the road on Saturday evening.
The Blues have had a disappointing last few games under manager Liam Rosenior. They suffered a surprise 1-0 loss to Newcastle United in the league last weekend.
This was followed up by their exit from the Champions League. Paris Saint-Germain secured an 8-2 aggregate win over the Blues after a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
In the same game, Chalobah twisted his ankle badly and required a stretcher to leave the field. The Englishman will undergo further tests but appears a big doubt for the short-term.
The Blues have been very poor defensively in the last few matches and the absence of Chalobah could be a huge blow, considering he has been by far the club's best central defender.
Chelsea are presently one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool, and must beat the Toffees on the road to keep up in the Champions League qualification race.
