Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has provided an update on Enzo Fernandez's future ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton on the road this weekend.
The Blues have had a frustrating week with three straight defeats. They recently bowed out of the Champions League after a disappointing 8-2 aggregate loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
They will be aiming to return to winning ways against the Toffees. Ahead of the game, Rosenior has clarified that Fernandez is happy at the club and his comments were mistranslated in midweek.
He said: "I had a great conversation with him, not just about his comments but his feelings and how we can improve. He made it really, really clear to me how happy he is at this club."
Fernandez has been widely linked with a summer move away from the Blues and there are claims that he could push for a departure if they don't qualify for the Champions League.
That could become a reality. Chelsea are currently one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool, and need to return to winning ways at Everton or they could fall further behind in the race.
