New Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly tabled a £18 million offer to land Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien this summer.

Apparently, Mourinho is keen on bringing several of his former colleagues whilst boss of Chelsea to his new side, Inter, this summer.



Mourinho has reportedly been given a £50 million budget to bring in new players, and it seems as if Chelsea could be set for a wash of bids from the Portuguese boss.



Mourinho has also admitted he would like to bring in Frank Lampard, but this is unlikely seeing as Chelsea have apparently offered Lampard a staggering £130,000 a week to stay at the club.



However, a £18 million offer for Ghanaian international Essien could prove too hard to refuse; and the player could be set to link up with his old boss again shortly.
