Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has said that there has been no communication with Real Madrid over a potential summer move.
The Argentine has cut a frustrated figure at the Blues this season, and he is assessing his options amid the lack of progress at the west London side.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with him and when pressed on links with the former of those clubs, Fernandez said:
"No, honestly, nothing. Zero talks [with Real Madrid]. Now we're focused on Chelsea and what's left of the last few games this season and then we'll see after the World Cup."
Fernandez has his sights on playing regular Champions League football and that may not be a guarantee with the Blues in the 2026/27 season.
The Blues are presently sixth in the league standings, one point behind Liverpool following a surprise 3-0 loss to Everton away from home.
Chelsea have won just one of the previous six matches and their current form could see them miss out on European football altogether.
