Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior won't be sacked even if the Blues don't qualify for the Champions League next season, according to The Telegraph.
The Blues have had a forgettable start to the New Year. Their form has drastically dipped and they have picked up one win in the last six Premier League matches.
The west London giants recently suffered a 3-0 loss to Everton on the road and some Blues fans have urged the hierarchy to part ways with their young head coach.
However, the board have a clear stance over Rosenior. They are prepared to only assess his situation in the summer of 2027 and won't make a hurried decision.
Chelsea are currently one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool in the race for the last Champions League spot. They still have to face Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Even if they miss out on the elite competition, the hierarchy don't plan to part ways with Rosenior. The 41-year-old will be backed with big funds to spend at the end of the campaign.
