Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka has his sights on joining Arsenal amid interest from AC Milan and Inter Milan, as per Calciomercato.
The German will be formally leaving Bayern when his contract expires at the end of June. He plans to move abroad with the Premier League being his preferred destination.
It is now reported that AC Milan and Inter Milan have made contract offers to the player. The midfielder is eyeing €7.5 million per year with a signing-on bonus of €10 million.
The Serie A giants are continuing talks with the player's representatives, but reports claim that Goretzka has his sights on joining the Gunners after a winter move broke down.
Arsenal wanted Goretzka as a replacement for the injured Mikel Merino before the winter transfer deadline, but the German decided to see out the campaign with Bayern.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners lodge a fresh offer for the experienced midfielder (31) or pursue a younger acquisition.
