The Spaniard has been one of the best performers for the Blues, but he has put speculation over his future with his last comments.

Cucurella has said that he would find it hard to turn down Barcelona and acknowledged he may consider a move in future.

Barcelona are not contemplating a move at the moment, and it remains to be seen whether they are enticed to make an approach.

The Catalan giants have one of the best left-backs in Alejandro Balde, but may have to sell him to balance their financial books.

They could be prepared to part ways with the La Masia graduate before making an approach for Cucurella in the summer.

Alongside Cucurella, Blues midfielder Enzo Fernandez has triggered speculation by confirming his desire to move to Madrid.

Real Madrid are monitoring the World Cup winner at the moment, but they are not contemplating an approach, as things stand.
