Chelsea are prepared to part ways with defender Marc Cucurella when the transfer window reopens this summer, according to El Nacional.
The Spaniard has been a key player in the left-back position for the Blues, but his future is uncertain after his critical comments in the media.
Cucurella recently criticised the club's hierarchy for their recruitment policy and believes they should focus on experienced stars over emerging talents.
El Nacional claim that the former Brighton & Hove Albion could be on his way out this summer with plenty of interest coming from Italy and Spain.
Cucurella has publicly talked up a possible return to Barcelona later in his career. It remains to be seen whether the Blaugrana make an approach.
There has been speculation that Alejandro Balde is attracting high-profile interest and Barcelona could sell him for a premium price this summer.
If that becomes the case, Cucurella could be signed as a replacement. Otherwise, a deal seems unlikely as the Spaniard won't want to play backup.
