Warnock to leave Blackburn?

Mark Hughes has left Blackburn Rovers for Manchester City and some of the players are unhappy and are set to leave the club. Stephen Warnock, a recent signing from Liverpool, is clearly not happy that Hughes has left the club and it seems that he might leave the club soon.

  • The former Liverpool left-back, Stephen Warnock has announced that he is not happy that Blackburn let Hughes go. He admitted that he signed for the club to play for Hughes.

The 26-year old recently signed a four year deal with Blackburn and had enjoyed a great form under Hughes. He was also awarded a place in the England squad recently. Warnock said that he signed the new contract believing that Hughes would be the manager.

I signed a new contract under the impression Mark was going to be our manager.

“It’s not that I don’t enjoy the club itself but he was the reason I came. I wanted to play for him.”

With Hughes already signed for Man City, Warnock might look for a new club soon.
