Chelsea have reportedly opened talks to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi at the end of the campaign.
The Blues have a good working relationship with the German giants, and they previously recruited Jamie Gittens last summer.
The club are now lining up an approach for Adeyemi, who has made 15 goal contributions from 37 games at club level this term.
The German's current deal with Dortmund expires in June 2027, and he has yet to be convinced to agree on new salary terms.
Hence, Dortmund are inclined to sanction his sale and reports claim that Chelsea are pushing to land his services later this year.
The Blues are not alone in the transfer pursuit. Arsenal and Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in him.
Adeyemi, who can operate in multiple attacking options, is said to be open to moving to the Premier League in the next transfer window.
Dortmund are expected to demand at least £40m for a sale.
