Manchester United are confident of landing the signature of two midfielders at the end of the season, according to Sky Sport Italy.
The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their defensive midfield department this summer. Casemiro is set to leave on a free transfer, while Manuel Ugarte could likewise pursue a new challenge amid his lack of playing time over the last few months.
Sky Sport Italy today claim that United are lining up an approach for Atalanta's Ederson, who could be signed for 40 million pounds. They are also weighing up a move for Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali, who could be prised away for around 80 million pounds.
The Red Devils are confident of landing the duo in the next few weeks. United would ideally prefer to secure their signatures at the earliest such that they can report from the beginning of pre-season. Aside from two midfielders, United are eyeing a backup winger too.
