Fulham monitor Kristiansen

17 September 2007 - 15:53

Fulham are currently monitoring Nurnberg's utility player Jan Kristiansen. The player is particularly versatile and Fulham are reportedly weighing up a January move for the player.

  • Seyi Olofinjana has recently been linked with the club, but Lawrie Sanchez will prefer to look for players with more experience on the flanks. Olofinjana is more of a solid, tough-tackling midfielder with no Premiership experience. Not only this, but Wolves are believed to be unprepared to sell the player.

Fulham scouts have been attending several Bundesliga games and were at Nurnberg's 1-0 home defeat to Werder Bremen in August and their recent 2-2 draw with Hannover. Which player they were monitoring is unknown, but it is believed to be Jan Kristiansen. Kristiansen is capable of playing anywhere across the defence and midfield.

The Danish player is versatile and comfortable of playing on either flank and has recently played for the Danish international side.

While the player was at Swedish club Esbjerg, several Premiership sides were considering a move for the 26-year-old utility player.
