Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move for former Borussia Dortmund defender Christoph Metzelder this summer as Jurgen Klinsmann prepares his new look squad.

The Bundesliga giants are eager to sign three of four top names for next year and the Real Madrid defender has emerged as one of the primary candidates.



Metzelder only joined Real Madrid last summer, but a move back to Germany looks an attractive option for the talented centre back.



Bayern Munich are believed to be ready to pay £8.75 million for the privilege.
