Bouaddi to Chelsea on?

Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi

14 June 2026 - 20:53

Chelsea have held talks with the representatives of Lille wonderkid Ayyoub Bouaddi ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Ben Jacobs.

  • Chelsea identify new number 1 as club plan new goalkeeper transfer
  • Chelsea eyeing move for Myles Lewis-Skelly?
  • The Blues currently have sufficient midfield depth, but things could change with Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia linked with possible departures.

Neither is close to leaving the club at the moment, but the Blues are keeping tabs on a possible replacement, should one of them head for the exit door.

Bouaddi is highly rated by the Blues' hierarchy, and Jacobs claims that contact has been established with the player's entourage regarding a transfer.

However, Chelsea are not at the top of the player's wishlist, given he could give priority to clubs playing in the Champions League next season.

Moreover, he won't come on the cheap with a price tag of 60 million pounds, which could increase even further in the coming weeks.

Bouaddi had a superb debut for Morocco against Brazil at the World Cup and more standout displays could increase his valuation further.
