Arsenal prepared to sell regular playmaker

Arsenal are prepared to part ways with captain Martin Odegaard for the right price this summer, according to BBC Sport journalist Sami Mokbel.

  • Chelsea stance on signing Ethan Nwaneri revealed
  • Arsenal star to start from the bench for England vs Ghana

  • The Norwegian has been an influential figure for the Gunners over the last six seasons, but he had a difficult 2025/26 campaign due to injuries.

Odegaard registered just 1,371 minutes in the Premier League, but he was still more than decent with one goal and eight assists to his name.

Mokbel has now revealed that Arsenal have not ruled out the prospect of parting ways with Odegaard for the right transfer package.

Odegaard is presently with Norway at the World Cup. He had an average outing against Iraq despite providing an assist from a corner.

The 27-year-old needs to step up for his country in the coming games against Senegal and France before a potential last 32 clash.

If Odegaard were to leave Arsenal this summer, there is a possibility that Arsenal could sign both Bradley Barcola and Morgan Rogers.
