Manchester United are prepared to part ways with midfielder Manuel Ugarte for just £24 million in the current transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Uruguayan had a difficult 2025/26 season with the Red Devils. He was a regular on the bench with Casemiro preferred for the number six role.
Casemiro will depart when his contract expires on June 30, but Ugarte could still leave with United planning to bring in a couple of midfielders.
It is now revealed that United are prepared to cut their losses on the former Paris Saint-Germain man, who was signed for an initial £42m in 2024.
They need around £24m from Ugarte's sale to avoid a deficit in their financial books and could demand a similar fee in the coming weeks.
The 25-year-old is presently at the World Cup with Uruguay. He has had two poor performances which could hamper his transfer valuation too.
Galatasaray, Napoli and Atletico Madrid have been linked with the former Sporting CP man, but neither of them has made an approach thus far.
