Barcola to Arsenal on the cards?

Arsenal set to switch targets after Rogers price tag

29 June 2026 - 20:51

Arsenal look poised to pursue an alternative left winger target after Aston Villa's staggering price tag for Morgan Rogers.

  • Chelsea to complete deal for Pep Chavarria
  • Malo Gusto to complete move from Chelsea to Man City this week

  • Rogers has been a top target for the north London giants, and it has been claimed that they have spoken with his entourage too.

The Englishman has been impressed by the Gunners' project and has already given the green light to a potential summer transfer.

However, it does not appear a move will happen. Villa have set a staggering price tag of £130m, which is expected to cool the Gunners' interest.

Mikel Arteta's side are poised to explore alternatives and Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola could emerge as one of those.

Liverpool have identified him as a top target but could now face serious competition from the Gunners for the former Lyon attacker.

Manager Mikel Arteta has been a long-term admirer of the Frenchman too and he could be prised away for a much less fee than Rogers.
