Manchester United will reportedly need to pay around £103 million to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha this summer.
The Red Devils recently missed out on signing Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham Hotspur, and they are exploring possible alternatives.
Nmecha is one of the top names on their wishlist, but BILD claim that Dortmund won't sanction his sale on the cheap this summer.
The Bundesliga outfit need to recoup funds for a spending spree, but they are still reluctant to negotiate to lower their demands for Nmecha.
The 25-year-old has a £69m release clause in his contract next summer, and Dortmund will demand at least £103m for an immediate transfer.
United seem unlikely to pay such a huge figure for the German, but the scenario could yet change depending on player availability.
Newcastle have also made enquiries for the former Manchester City graduate, but Nmecha prefers to join a bigger club instead.
Nmecha looks most likely to continue at Dortmund next term.
