Arsenal are weighing up a surprise approach for West Ham United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, according to Teamtalk.
The Gunners are determined to pursue a new right-back as they prepare for the departure of Ben White, who is eyeing more playing time.
White has also suffered plenty of injuries in the last few years, and Arsenal are more than open to sanctioning his sale at the right price.
It is now revealed that the Gunners are lining up an approach for Wan-Bissaka and they have already discussed his name in internal meetings.
The DR Congo ace is expected to leave the Hammers after their relegation, but West Ham are set to demand at least £25m for his services.
Arsenal may probably seek a discount on the price and may propose £20m with a further £5m in the form of performance-based add-ons.
Wan-Bissaka has also been linked with Newcastle United, but he is likely to prefer joining a club where he can play Champions League football.
