Aston Villa are reportedly showing interest in Club Brugge defender Joaquin Seys as they assess options on the left side of their back line this summer.
According to a July 15 report, Villa are admirers of the Club Brugge left-back and could view him as a potential replacement for Lucas Digne. The French defender could depart for Paris Saint-Germain, a scenario that would leave Villa needing to consider how best to reshape that area of the squad before the new campaign.
Seys has therefore emerged as a name to watch as Villa look at possible defensive reinforcements. The Midlands club are understood to be weighing up a bid for the Club Brugge player, though the situation appears to be linked in part to what happens with Digne. If PSG advance their interest and a deal for Digne becomes more realistic, Villa’s pursuit of a left-back could gather pace.
