Chelsea make Mykhailo Mudryk loan decision

Mudryk to be loaned out?

Chelsea make Mykhailo Mudryk loan decision

03 August 2026 - 19:52

Chelsea are reportedly open to sending Mykhailo Mudryk out on loan during the upcoming campaign.

  • Chelsea in talks to land Portuguese winger?
  • Chelsea agree £31m deal to sell defender
  • The Ukraine international is free to play again after his doping ban, and he has already travelled to Hong Kong to train with the Blues squad.

However, he may not necessarily feature for the first team next term and could instead be loaned out to sister club Strasbourg very soon.

Mudryk is currently focused on building up his fitness, but he is unlikely to turn down the prospect of regular first-team football next term.

Strasbourg have acted as a feeder club for the Blues for some time, and could help Mudryk to revive his career after a lengthy 18-month absence.

Mudryk cost the Blues almost €95m from Shakhtar Donetsk three years ago, and they will be hoping to recoup some of the funds spent in future.

At the moment, he needs to regain full fitness and prove his credentials on a regular basis at the top level to increase his transfer valuation again.
