Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount remains absent from training ahead of the Premier League opener against Hull City on the road on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils start their campaign against newly promoted Hull, and they are widely fancied to pick up a comfortable victory. Ahead of the game, there is some good news with Benjamin Sesko and Matthijs de Ligt back in first-team training.
Sesko and De Ligt were out with shin and back injuries respectively, but the duo have started working with the team. They may not be ready for the weekend, but should be involved in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, Mount has not been spotted since picking up a knock during the friendly against Paris Saint-Germain. He has been sidelined for the last two friendlies against Leeds United and AC Milan.
The Englishman was one of the bright spots in pre-season from a deeper midfield role, and manager Michael Carrick is expected to provide an update on his current condition in Thursday's presser.
