Manchester United are expected to confirm the arrival of midfielder Carlos Baleba from Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
The Red Devils have already strengthened their midfield department with Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this summer.
The club were working towards a third midfield signing, and they are now on the cusp of landing Baleba from the Seagulls.
A verbal agreement worth £70 million was agreed for his services yesterday, and he has now successfully undergone a medical.
Baleba will be formally announced as a United player tomorrow.
The Cameroonian will become the club's fourth major signing of the summer after Santos, Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow.
United are not done yet in the transfer market, and reports claim that they are exploring the possibility of signing a new left-back.
A striker could be signed too but that largely depends on what happens with the future of Joshua Zirkzee before the transfer deadline.
Zirkzee is pushing to join Juventus in the coming days.
