Man City enter race to sign £80m Arsenal target

Manchester City have entered the race to sign Arsenal target Iliman Ndiaye from Everton before the transfer deadline next week.

  • Chelsea agree deal to sign Argentine star
  • Man City enter race to sign £80m Arsenal target
  • The Cityzens recently offloaded Savio and Omar Marmoush (on loan with a buy obligation) to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

They have agreed to sign Palmeiras forward Allan as cover, but remain keen on landing another wide player before the transfer window closes.

Ndiaye has now emerged as a genuine target, and Man City are prepared to discuss a part-exchange deal with Jack Grealish acting as a makeweight.

Grealish is said to be eager to rejoin Everton after his loan stint last term, and this could put Man City in an advantageous position to land Ndiaye.

Arsenal are also admirers of the £80 million-rated winger, but have not made an offer yet, with the focus on offloading Gabriel Martinelli.

It seems Man City are the front-runners to sign the 26-year-old and the Gunners could miss out on the versatile winger this summer.
