Arsenal have made a formal approach to sign Real Madrid starlet Endrick before the transfer window closes next week, according to talkSPORT.
The Gunners are determined to land a marquee forward before the transfer deadline, and Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez is the prime target for them.
However, the Argentine is said to be reluctant to return to England, which could force the London giants to pursue an alternative in the near future.
TalkSPORT claim that Endrick has emerged as a possible target for the Gunners and they have indeed made an official approach to sign him.
Still, a deal looks unlikely on the cards. Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho has made it crystal clear that Endrick won't be heading for an exit.
Madrid are likewise in agreement with the Portuguese tactician, while the player himself is clearly happy to continue at the Spanish giants.
It seems unlikely that Arsenal will succeed in signing the 20-year-old.
