Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has completed his permanent move to Aston Villa for a reported fee of £65 million.
The Senegal international fell out of favour under manager Enzo Maresca last year, and he was loaned out to Bayern Munich.
The 25-year-old had a decent loan stint with 10 goals for Bayern, and it was anticipated that he could revive his Chelsea career.
However, the former Villarreal man has now decided to join the Villans, where he has been reunited with manager Unai Emery.
Emery previously managed Jackson during his time at Villarreal, and the Spanish tactician has played a big part in the transfer.
Jackson was registered before the cut-off time at noon today, and he will therefore be eligible to face Arsenal on Monday night.
Villa made a dreadful start to the season with a 4-0 thrashing at Brighton & Hove Albion, and will be eager to make amends.
Jackson could lead the line from the off for the Midlands outfit.
