Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has confirmed a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton on Sunday.

  • Chelsea confirm shirt number change for Emiliano Martinez

  • The Red Devils picked up their first victory of the season with a 5-2 win over Ipswich Town last weekend. They will be aiming to carry the momentum with another three points on Merseyside.

Ahead of tomorrow's game, Carrick has confirmed that midfielder Mason Mount has been training for a number of days and looks in good shape before the trip to face the Toffees.

Mount has not featured for the Red Devils in any capacity since picking up an injury in pre-season against Paris Saint-Germain, but looks poised to make the matchday squad tomorrow.

Alongside Mount, Carrick acknowledged that Benjamin Sesko is slowly building up his fitness after missing pre-season due to a shin injury sustained in the final phase of last term.

Sesko has been a substitute in the first two matches of the new league campaign, but could become a starter for the club pretty soon.
