Liverpool and Manchester City have been offered the opportunity to land former Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal this summer, according to teamTalk.
The Spaniard is a free agent after his release from Madrid earlier this year. He has decided to take time to choose his next club and his representatives have reportedly contacted Premier League sides.
Liverpool and Man City are among those who have been contacted, but it does not appear that either of those will make a contract proposal soon.
Jeremie Frimpong has struggled at right-back since his switch to the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen, but the club are still not overly concerned about it.
Manager Andoni Iraola could easily play Ronald Araujo or Dominik Szoboszlai there. The former made his first club start in the position.
Similarly, Man City have Abdukodir Khusanov, Matheus Nunes and Rico Lewis, and don't plan to pursue another solution in the near future.
Carvajal is expected to make a decision over his future very soon.
