Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes looks poised to start on the right wing in tonight's Champions League clash away against Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils are winless in their last two matches, and they now face a difficult challenge against Diego Simeone's side at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Ahead of the encounter, journalist Djamel has revealed that manager Michael Carrick has decided to start Fernandes as a right winger in Madrid.
Youri Tielemans, who has played in central midfield for the Red Devils so far this campaign, will move into the number 10 position.
This could mean Carrick could operate with two defensive midfielders in Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba against Atletico.
Carrick's position at United continues to remain safe, but things could change if he can't change the club's fortunes soon.
The Red Devils have a tricky schedule coming up. After Atletico away, they have two more away matches against Leeds United and Como.
Those games could well decide Carrick's future at the club.
