Gomez agent talks Roma

Gomez agent talks Roma

14 June 2008 - 20:50

Mario Gomez's agent, Maurizio Gaudino, has insisted that his client will not be leaving VfB Stuttgart this summer. The Germany international - who is representing his country at Euro 2008 - has been linked with a big money move from the Bundesliga to AS Roma.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest
  • However, any Roma move for the talented forward is likely to be blocked.

"Gomez's move to Roma is just based on talk and it's all been invented," the agent told Roma News.

"We have not heard from Roma or any of their representatives.

"Of course it would be an honour for him to play in the Champions League with a team like Roma and alongside champions like Totti.

"However, it is likely that Gomez will remain in Germany as he still has four years on his contract with Stuttgart."
