Navarro to Sevilla deal held up

Navarro to Sevilla deal held up

15 June 2008 - 09:17

Fernando Navarro - Real Mallorca's talented right back - has been linked with a move to Sevilla to replace Daniel Alves who joined Barcelona. But the player's agent has rejected the rumours and says no deal is in place yet.

  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • "The matter of the player is not fully closed," Orobitg told AS.

"I don't know if Sevilla and Mallorca have agreed terms. I don't know if this will be sorted out this weekend.

"What's for sure is that there is an offer, but they (Mallorca) have to reply.

"In principle, there are some differences, but the deal is not closed because there is no consent (from Mallorca) nor a definitive agreement with the player."
