Arsenal to let Kroenke on board

Arsenal to let Kroenke on board

20 June 2008 - 08:56

Arsenal have reportedly told American tycoon Stan Kroenke that he could well be ready to step up to the plate as the new primary shareholder in the football club. Kroenke has built new strong relationships with the existing board of directors at the Emirates.

  • Bournemouth close to signing Chelsea defender?

  • Kroenke is believed to be in advanced talks with Daniel Fiszman, Arsenal's majority shareholder, with regard to a future takeover.

It is unsure whether the club will allow him to officially take control of the club as Alisher Usmanov owns a significant portion of the club anyway, however, Arsenal are set to offer the American Wal-Mart tycoon a place on the board.
